Greek olive oil is among the best in the world. The Mycenaeans exchanged their valuable olive oil for gold in ancient Greek times. You can’t leave Greece without having tasted an excellent olive oil.
On the land where the first olive press of Greece was located, you will be mesmerized by the sight of the ancient olive trees on the …hectares of land, the fragrance of the wild herbs, the great views of the beautiful coastline, and the buildings that date back to 1821, and were owned by the captain that led an important role in the Greek War of Independence. Not to forget the great views you will have of the beautiful coastline. Here you will have the chance to taste an excellent olive oil. They were the first to bottle and label olive oil, and won a golden medal at the exhibition of Paris in 1900. You will have a look behind the scene and learn about the secrets of producing olive oil with high quality standards.

There are many old footpaths in the area of Porto Heli. We will guide you on these trails through great natural beauty, and lead you to secluded coves and hilltops with breathtaking views. Hike with us to the hidden old monastery, built in the rocks high up the cliffs. Or enjoy the hike through the beautiful luscious green gorge to a tiny chapel. And what about a hike along the coastline to a prehistoric cave! We have a choice of trails with different levels of difficulty, suitable for everybody’s experience.
